Parenting can be challenging the best of times. Parenting a child with a mental and/or neurological condition(s) adds another dimension to an already complex role.
The journey of learning the intricacies of a child's mental and/or neurological condition can be quite daunting. Understanding how best to work and live with an affected child is crucial for a healthy, supportive and nourishing home life. But the answers to achieving this harmony may not be so easy to come by, especially when parents have difficulty dealing with the many other issues life throws their way.
Wildberry Productions has provided parents with strategies for various conditions including Attention Deficit /Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Learning Disabilities and Dyspraxia. Each child is different, and as such, some strategies may work well with some individuals but not with others.
Place your mouse over the Parents link and a list of conditions will be displayed. Click on the condition of interest to you.
Under the Educators link, we also provide strategies to be tried in the classroom setting.
